"Mary managed a fundraiser for our feature film project. The set-up, the food, the presentation-it was everything we wanted and more. She and her team took our event on as if it were their own and made it a solid success."
Bob Pusateri, Producer
Mary has always had a special knack for planning parties...as well as attending them. It's no wonder she has been a bridesmaid so many times. Being an Actor, Mary's interest in event planning stems from her extensive production experience. (Not to mention all that time waiting tables). At the end of the day Mary puts on a great "show".
Mary has planned numerous weddings, both local and destination. She has consulted on Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and organized numerous dinner parties and showers. As the Special Projects Coordinator for The Rosen Group, in Summit, Mary was resposible for planning all corporate events, including, meetings luncheons, employee holiday parties, and a 20th anniversay gala that included a major installation. She has been a member of the Fundraising Committee for the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills, was instrumental in planning the 90th Anniversay Gala and produced the Family Theatre Fundraiser for four years. She also sits on the steering committee for the Bridge's Brown Bag Bash, and was on the Board of Director's for the Summit Chorale, where she Chaired their major fundraising gala.
With such a wide range of experiences Mary brings expertise to the table in many ways. As a performer, Mary has a gift for selecting appropriate entertainment as well as negotiating a good price for talent. With six years at an Interior Design Firm under her belt, she provides a fresh and polished look to event decor. Mary worked in restaraunt mangement so she has extensive knowledge of food service, bar and staffing. Mary's experience in Theatre Production gives her the patience and organizational skills necessary to pull together complicated projects, with numerous vendors, a tight deadline, and under budget. (Not to mention an ability to cope with a little bit of drama).
